'Out of Milk', 'Springpad', 'Evernote', or something else?

I started using 'Out of Milk' to hold my shopping and pantry lists.  My household has lists for each individual, joint lists for general food items, and lists by store (Costco, hardware, you get the picture).  If we shop at the same time and one of us marks items off the list, both can see which items have been checked off by the other person (by manually syncing the app).  The app works on both Android and iPhones which is essential in a 2 mobile OS home!  If sharing the app with the household, I suggest creating a new email address (gmail, outlook.com, yahoo) specifically to use with this app.  I've never seen this app generate any email but just in case, you are covered.  And your important personal account isn't tide to an app so you can use a simple login to access the app.

I added 'Springpad' to hold my recipes and other notes.  If you know me please don't hurt yourself busting a gut laughing.  I don't cook much but when I do, I use Dos Equis... wait, that's beer.  Springpad's useful for when you see a recipe on the internet and want to keep it.  Often the app knows it is a recipe and creates a note broken into Ingredients, Directions, etc. When shopping and the store has a special on strawberries, you can look at your recipes on your smartphone to see what to make.  It can create shopping lists too but I'm hooked on 'Out of Milk' for that.  Of course 'Springpad' does much more than recipes.  It's an 'organize your life' app.  Goodness knows we're all on info overload.  I'll take any help I can get.

I tried 'Evernote' but had so much info I hit their upload limit in less than a week.  Bye bye 'Evernote'..

All of these services have a mobile app and regular browser-based component with integration that let you 'clip' links and notes from whatever you're viewing or 'share' directly to their app if on mobile.

So are you using a shopping list, bookmark, or note taking app.  If so, which one and for what?
